Seller Documentation Policy

To maintain a secure, trustworthy, and legally compliant fashion marketplace, MOBITEL DIGITAL OPC PRIVATE LIMITED requires all sellers to provide valid documentation. This policy outlines the necessary documents and the process for seller verification and approval.


1. Purpose of Document Collection

We collect seller documents to:

  • Verify the authenticity of the business or individual
  • Ensure compliance with Indian laws and tax regulations
  • Prevent counterfeit or illegal fashion product listings
  • Facilitate secure and timely payments

2. Required Documents

All sellers must submit the following documents during registration:

For Individual Sellers:

  • PAN Card (mandatory)
  • Aadhar Card (for identity and address proof)
  • Bank Account Details (passbook copy/canceled cheque)
  • GST Registration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Recent Passport-size Photograph

For Business Entities (Proprietorship / Partnership / Pvt. Ltd.):

  • PAN Card of Business or Proprietor
  • GST Certificate (mandatory if turnover > ₹40 lakh)
  • Bank Account Details in Business Name
  • Business Address Proof (utility bill, rent agreement, or property papers)
  • Company Registration/Incorporation Certificate (for registered companies)
  • Authorized Signatory ID Proof

3. Document Verification Process

  1. After you submit your documents, our team will:
    • Cross-check all submitted details
    • Verify your identity and business existence
    • Review your fashion product catalog (if already uploaded)
  2. The verification process may take up to 48 working hours.
  3. Once verified, your account will be activated for listing and selling.

4. Document Validity and Updates

  • All documents must be valid and up to date.
  • If your address, bank account, or GST number changes, you must inform us within 7 days and submit updated documents.
  • Expired or fraudulent documents will lead to account suspension.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

All seller documents are kept strictly confidential and used only for internal verification and legal compliance. We do not share your personal or business documents with any third party without consent, unless required by law.


6. Rejection of Application

Your seller registration may be rejected if:

  • Documents are fake, unclear, expired, or incomplete
  • You fail to meet the eligibility criteria
  • Your business is found to be selling counterfeit or banned fashion items

You may reapply with corrected or complete documentation.


7. Compliance Responsibility

It is your responsibility as a seller to:

  • Ensure legal compliance (especially GST, PAN, and business registration laws)
  • Cooperate with document verification requests as needed
  • Keep your records updated at all times
